SmartAsset, a financial advice website, has recently posted an article ranking this year’s most undervalued cities in America.
The list is targeted at home-buyers of all experience levels in an effort to educated them on mortgages, the true value of a home, and the details of multiple cities across the United States.
Listed at number 6 on the “Most Undervalued Cities” list, SmartAsset considers Charleston to be more accurately valued in 2018 compared to 2017. Thanks to the influx of incredible dining options and a vast history, Charleston has grown increasingly popular worldwide. The city is said to have ranked 39th for concentration of dining/entertainment establishments, such as the well-known Husk or the Gaillard performing arts center.
In addition to the wonderful amenities the historic city has to offer its visitors, Charleston also ranks in the top 50 for lowest violent crime rates, making the Holy City safe and beautiful.
While interest in our beautiful city continues to peak, it may come as a bit of a surprise to learn that Charleston is still considered undervalued.
