Summer is quickly coming to an end, but there are still plenty of Lowcountry activities to experience before Fall begins in September!

Labor Day weekend continues to bring music into the Lowcountry as the Gaillard hosts the 10th Annual Lowcountry Jazz Festival. Kicking off with a VIP Party on Friday, September 1, and the weekend will feature artists such as Selina Albright, Eric Darius, and Boney James. Ongoing Dates
Our local theaters have a variety of wonderful shows scheduled for the Summer/Fall season. These shows include favorites like Mama Mia! by the Charleston Stage at the Dock Street Theater from August 29 – September 23, and the Flowertown Players’ avant-guarde 12 Angry Men from September 14-22. Local talent will also be performing fun dinner theater shows, musical comedies, and more!
The semi-annual Charleston Restaurant Week will be back the first week of September, and will once again offer fun and delicious meals from local favorites. Visit restaurants like Blossom, Peninsula Grill, and Basil for incredible deals. A few of this year’s participating restaurants will also be participating in Charleston Beer Week, which runs September 7-15. For all brides interested in a Charleston wedding, you don’t want to miss this event! Photographers, interior designers, fashion designers, and more will be gathering at the North Charleston Area Convention Center to display some of their best work. The Wedding Festival tickets are only $10 at the door and $8 online here, and there will be tons of prizes for a handful of lucky brides.
