Colonial Lake Tree Lighting – November 30th
Head over to Colonial Lake tonight at 5:30 pm for food, fun, a live DJ; and watch the Charleston Parks Conservancy light up the lake!
The City of Charleston and the Charleston Fire Department will be hosting the parade at 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 2nd, 2018. Beginning on Broad Street at Rutledge Avenue, the parade will continue to King Street and end at Calhoun and Meeting Streets. If you’re in Downtown Charleston, don’t miss your opportunity to see Santa!
28th Annual Reindeer Run – December 8th
The 2018 Reindeer Run starts at 9:00 am at East Bay and Queen Streets. Take a lap around the Battery and back to the starting line, then head over to the Beer Garden afterward for a little post-run fun. Registration is open on the Reindeer Run website, as well as further details and route map.
Summerville Christmas Parade – December 9th
This year’s Summerville Christmas Parade will begin at 2:00 pm, so get ready to make your spirits bright! Summerville Dream says that the “mission of the [Parade] is to promote positivity throughout the Town of Summerville while capturing the spirit of the Christmas holiday for all to enjoy.” Find a full route map and other post-parade activities in Summerville here.
The classic Saturday Market in Marion Square will be taking on a more festive theme throughout December! Visit December 1st & 2nd, 8th & 9th, 15th & 16th to support local Charleston Farmers Market vendors, enjoy live music, and keep an eye out–you may spot Santa!
