Sharon Kucharski, a Midwesterner and graduate of the University of Arizona, has worked in Charleston’s real estate business for fifteen years.  She has been awarded with The Realtor of Distinction multiple times over the years for her top sales, and she served two years as President for the Realtors® Housing Opportunity Fund.

When asked about her greatest accomplishment, Sharon says that it has to be raising three wonderful children while selling real estate. Her eldest son is a boat captain, guiding boats internationally at only age 27; her middle child, a daughter, is a 26-year-old fashion designer and clothing line owner in Los Angeles; her youngest daughter is a 23-year-old yoga/meditation/Reiki instructor. Thus far, the Kucharski’s have been wildly successful and are a true inspiration to those of all interests!

Sharon’s advice to young professionals interested in real estate is this: “Educate yourself, stay current, [be advised under] another Realtor® for at least two years in order to absorb knowledge, know facts and figures, and find your niche market.” The latter is quite important because of the differences between commercial real estate and luxury real estate, just as there are differences in luxury real estate and low-end real estate.

Currently-on-market listing of hers is 2029 Wappoo Hall Road (above), a property which Sharon says has been one of her favorites. If she were not in real estate, Sharon states that she would either be selling some type of product, or taking care of people of all ages. It would surely seem that Sharon leans towards people-oriented careers and making people happy.
