Join the Charleston Gallery Association between 5:00pm and 8:00pm for this year’s third CGA Art Walk. Visitors will be able to tour forty of Charleston’s finest art galleries, enjoy food and wine, and view the most exquisite pieces in the Lowcountry. Bay Street Biergarten will be hosting its very own Oktoberfest. The loved restaurant will have $10 Liter specials featuring select German and Oktoberfest biers, $5 Jäger Shots, $7 Jäger Bombs, and a fun DJ to keep the party going. View more details and menus at the BSB’s website.
Find out how folks from the 18th century lived at Middle Place! Access is included in general admission tickets, and the event is held from 10am-4pm. The Middleton Place website has a full calendar of events for the historic plantation.
Boone Hall Plantation is amping up the Halloween excitement as they return after an absence following 2016’s rainy October. Visit the pumpkin patch through October 31st, Mondays-Saturdays from 9am-6pm and Sundays 11am-6pm. In addition to the pumpkin patch, Boone Hall Fright Nights returns for another terrifying season. The Preservation Society of Charleston is holding their 41st Annual Fall Tour. Each day of the tour offers a gorgeous look into Charleston’s historic homes and gardens–further details can be found by clicking here. Proceeds support the Society’s mission to preserve Charleston’s historic buildings and unique atmosphere.
