Charles Sullivan

A founding partner of Carriage Properties and a native South Carolinian, Charles is an active College of Charleston alum and a 45-year resident of the city. He has been a leader in luxury real estate for over 30 years, consistently recognized as a multi-million-dollar producer as well as the “top agent” in the Historic District for multiple years running. Charles has closed sales in the luxury market of Charleston totaling over $1.5 billion, often setting records for the “Top Price” each year.

Going back to 2020 and again in 2021, Charles represented both buyers and/or sellers, closing just under $100 million in transactions each year. Recently, 2022 ranks as Charles’ personal best, closing around $140 million in luxury sales, the highest of any agent in Metro Charleston. In the Historic District, as well as Metro Charleston, Charles was recognized in 2022 as the #1 agent. In 2023 and 2024, Charles was the #1 sales agent in the Historic District and #2 single sales agent in Metro Charleston. Most recently, in 2025, Charles facilitated sales of over $130 million while again finishing as the #1 sales agent in the Historic District. In addition, Charles has been consistently recognized again by the Wall Street Journal, ranking in the top 250 luxury agents across the country.

Currently residing in the heart of the Historic District, on Church Street, Charles has lived in almost every borough of Downtown Charleston. In addition to being an active member of the Historic District community, he supports and participates in numerous civic activities and board level associations with an emphasis on preservation, architecture, and the local arts.
