Bobby Sommers

As a lifelong Charleston native, Bobby is passionate about Lowcountry living. After graduating from the College of Charleston, he spent nearly a decade serving as a public and private school educator. Eager to try something new in the community he loves, Bobby embarked on a career in Real Estate in the Fall of 2018.  As the Marketing and Community Relations Consultant for Lerato, a large landowner in Carolina Park, Bobby worked as part of a team to bring recreation and commercial opportunities to one of the largest master-planned communities in Mount Pleasant. In the Summer of 2020, Bobby joined the Carriage Properties team as a residential Realtor®. Using an educational approach, he ensures clients fully understand each step of the home buying and selling process. He is committed to providing an exceptional customer service experience from start to finish and beyond, working to build long lasting relationships. Bobby is actively involved in the greater Charleston community and serves as Chairman of the Board for Housing for All Mount Pleasant, a nonprofit working to bring attainable housing opportunities to Mount Pleasant. He currently lives downtown with his dog, BMO, and cat, Miko. He enjoys boating, exploring Charleston’s parks and beaches, and dining out with family and friends.
