Charleston’s Wine + Food Festival is officially underway in Marion Square and surrounding locations, featuring the Lowcountry’s top chefs and world-renowned restaurants. This 14th installment of the festival brings not only waves of hungry visitors, but also welcomes Al Roker, Kathie Lee, and Hoda of the Today Show as they cover the weeks’ events.

Luckily, Carriage Properties’ very own Judy Tarleton (Partner/Broker-in-Charge) will be performing the ceremonial act of opening a bottle of champagne with a saber! After a few days of practice, Judy is excited to take on the challenge LIVE on the Today Show.

Originally from the Northeast, Brenden discovered his love for Charleston as a student at the College of Charleston where he majored in Corporate Communications. Following graduation in 2013, Brenden worked for two years in Washington, D.C. as Special Aide to the House Majority Whip.  In 2015, Brenden returned to Charleston to set down his roots and pursue a career in real estate investment. He served as Director of Operations for a vertically integrated real estate development company. Brenden currently serves as Director of Operations for CopeGrand Homes, a luxury home builder.  Brenden’s projects have included speculation building, construction management, historic renovation, and luxury vacation rental development.
