Hailing from Charleston's Historic District, Alton is personally familiar with the history and detail of many fine downtown homes; he is also knowledgeable about the spectacular waterfront enclaves hidden away on the surrounding sea islands. Alton has lived in several other cities, but was ultimately drawn back to the Lowcountry because of Charleston's quality of life, sense of community, and unsurpassed beauty. A graduate of the Hill School, Davidson College, and the University of South Carolina School of Law, Alton practiced law for several years before joining the real estate profession.
